GAME OF THRONES:
Medieval Land Fun-Time World
Following the Game of Thrones theme from last time check out this 'Bad Lip Reading Voice Over' amazing! Thanks & check out my last blog on Awesome Stuff You've Just Got To Watch.
Need A New TV Series To Watch?
So you've finished watching 'Breaking Bad' & 'How I Met Your Mother' has come to an end, now what to watch next!
In no particular order, lets start with some big names that are a must
Fantasy / Action / Drama
Thriller / Drama
House of Cards: Based originally on a book by Michael Dobbs and a British show of the same name, House of Cards tells a story of an ambitious US congressman, played by Kevin Spacey, who manipulates his way to power and more. Maybe even try out the original British version.
Horror / Thriller / Drama
The Walking Dead: Following the comics somewhat this series is gripping from start to finish, even if it is made in the typical US cliffhanger format.
Mystery / Thriller / Drama
Homeland: From the creators of 24 comes the thriller Homeland, with an intriguing look inside the mysterious CIA.
History / Crime / Drama
Boardwalk Empire: The first episode is directed by Martin Scorsese & is a mix of mobsters in the prohibition era, what more can i say.
24: Easily the most innovative, ground-breaking television show of the past 20 years & there is currently a new season coming out '24: Live Another Day' set in London, so why not watch the original series then the new series & trailer if you fancy it.
Comedy / Drama
Freaks And Geeks: A show based around two unique groups of teenagers dealing with life in high school during the 80's. Awesome cast of young stars before they were famous: James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel & Samm Levine.
Adventure / Sci-fi / Drama
Firefly: If you want an original series where you mix Sci-Fi with a hint of the Old West then this is the one for you.
Fringe: Think X-files without out the X, the characters will keep you entertained, the story will keep you on your toe's and scientific experiments will leave you speechless. This is a show not to be missed!
Comedy / Sci-Fi / Dama
Black Mirror: A television anthology series that shows the dark side of life and technology.
Comedy
My Name Is Earl: What could be funnier than a redneck that wins the lottery & tries to fix all the wrong he has done in an attempt to fix his Kama..
Comedy / Drama
Summer Heights High: Follows three characters, Jonah,a delinquent break dancing problem child, Mr.Gee an ego-driven gay Drama teacher and Ja'mie a high-class bitchy private school girl. Surprisingly realistic Australian comedy.
Comedy / Crime / Drama
Orange Is The New Black: Based (when I say loosely I mean loosely) on a true story, Piper is sentenced to 15 months in prison after being convicted of a crime in her past, transporting money for her drug-dealing girlfriend.
Sports / Comedy
Eastbound & Down: If you're looking for the cliché feel good sports movie, this isn't for you. But if you love beer, babes, boobs and plenty of testosterone then this is your ultimate sports comedy that'll keep you coming back for more.
Comedy / Crime / Drama
Bones: Follows a typical CSI crime show storyline but with a twist of "House" & comedy throne in for good measure.
Sci-Fi / Mystery / Drama
The 4400: Resembles early X-file episodes in searching for the truth & builds up suspense almost as cleverly as 24. Each episode systematically features another person from the 4400 that has an interesting ability with equal repercussions for balance.
Documentary
Louis Theroux: A legend in his own right makes interesting documentaries on fascinating subjects, broadcast on the BBC. Louis uses his intelligence, seriousness and a little bit of humour to make these engrossing episodes, for example: 'Crime in Johannesburg', 'Mail-Order Brides in Thailand' & 'A Place for Paedophiles'.
Animated / Action / Comedy
Archer: Works for ISIS (Run by his mother, don't ask), an international spy agency, global crises there are merely opportunities for its highly trained employees to confuse, undermine, betray and royally screw each other over.
The 100: 100 juvenile delinquents are sent to a post apocalyptic Nuclear damaged Earth by humanities last hope, who are orbiting in a deteriorating satellite, set in the not-so-distant future. Lord of the Flies-esque chaos and skinny dipping ensues.
So there it is & history of Series that have entertained me no end, try them out before you dismiss them & good luck!
